PCH Treatment Center is a private pay facility that will perform courtesy insurance billing for out of network benefits. PCH has chosen to remain private pay so that we may offer the highest level of care possible. We believe treatment parameters such as type of therapy, number of therapy sessions, ancillary services and length of stay should be determined by us, not an insurance company. We believe that difficult psychological conditions cannot be addressed by the length of stays dictated by insurers. For example, insurers often will only approve 8-10 days of care at a certain level. At PCH our minimum length of stay is 4 weeks. We believe it is not efficacious to embark on treatment for less than this amount of time. We also provide clients and family members with an estimate of our recommended length of treatment around the time of admission or initial assessment. We believe the client and their family should have a realistic understanding of the treatment plan, so we can provide a successful treatment experience.
Many of our clients have been treated at one or several treatment centers prior to finding PCH. We take our responsibility to each client and their family very seriously.
After both parties have agreed to proceed to admission, financial arrangements will be made. Payment of a deposit to hold a space ($2500.00) can be made by credit card, cashier’s check or wire transfer. The balance of payment can be made by cashier’s check or wire transfer.
PCH Treatment Center does not accept insurance, but we do provide assistance for clients and their families to seek insurance reimbursement. PCH Treatment Center has an insurance billing office and we work with independent third party billing companies to attempt to obtain verification of benefits and/or pre-authorization. Our staff will also submit billing for the client and initiate coverage for an extended stay when possible. Please note that when using the outside billing service, the client and family may incur separate fees.
