Professional Referrals
Patient Referrals to PCH Treatment Center
PCH Treatment Center has a large network of individual therapists, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, as well as other treatment facilities, hospitals, and clinics, that refer Clients to us for treatment. We pride ourselves on maintaining strong relationships with our referents, derived from clear communication, integrity, and efficacious treatment. We preserve and foster the relationships of our Clients with their private therapist or facility, and coordinate their return to their primary therapist after treatment at our Center.
If you have a Client to refer to us, there are several ways to reach us. First, you can contact our Intake Coordinator, Jenice Cubillas, at 888.724.0040 to set up an evaluation or obtain further information. You can also call the PCH Office at 310.566.7624 and speak with one of our staff members. Or, you can use our webform at pchtreatment.com. Our fax number is 310.566.7629.
Program Location
All treatment, including group and Individual therapy is conducted in our Clinic in West Los Angeles (Mar Vista). The address is 11965 Venice Blvd. Suite 405, Los Angeles, CA 90066.
PCH Treatment Programs
PCH offers several levels of care for adult men and women, eighteen and older. There is the Intensive Treatment Program, a Day Treatment Program, and an Evening Treatment Program for clients who work or are in school during the day. We also offer a Family Treatment Program, where we incorporate family members and significant others into the Client's treatment environment.

Duration of Intensive Treatment Program
The Intensive Treatment Program starts with a minimum 4 week duration. The healing process takes time, particularly when Clients are struggling with life-long issues. We will have a better idea of your Client's particular needs in terms of length of stay from your referral information and our initial evaluation. We are continually reevaluating our treatment plan as we work directly with the Client once they enter the program. Our treatment team meets weekly to discuss each Client, and to reassess each Client's progress and duration of care needed.
Clinical Staff
We maintain a staff of highly trained individual therapists who are all licensed clinical psychologists with at least 15-25 years of experience. Many have trained at UCLA and have undergone advanced training as psychoanalysts. Our therapists have extensive experience working with complex and challenging patient issues, and many have a background in intensive or residential treatment. Additionally, we offer five individual therapy sessions per week to clients (including somatic experiencing therapy). We have found that this level of expertise and experience is essential in working with our particular Client population. Other treatment programs focus upon substance abuse issues (alone or co-occuring), and they provide master's level therapists, with primarily group rather than individual therapy. At PCH we offer extensive individual as well as state-of-the-art group therapies, most led by doctoral level therapists.
Progress updates and Discharge Summary
Upon request, referring therapists and facilities will receive a weekly update and upon discharge, a summary of their Client's treatment course.
Confidentiality
All PCH employees are subjected to a background check and must sign a stringent confidentiality agreement. We have strict guidelines regarding the privacy of our clients, and do not allow Clients to photograph other Clients. We conform to all HPPA laws to protect our Clients' confidentiality.
Insurance Billing
PCH Treatment Center is a private pay facility. We do not accept any form of insurance directly. However, we will furnish our Clients, upon request, with a Superbill itemizing all billable services that they can submit to their insurance carrier.
Return of client to primary therapist/facility.
PCH maintains a strong relationship with the primary therapist or referring facility. We believe this is of the utmost importance. As mentioned, weekly communication is maintained, and we endeavor to return the Client to the primary therapist or facility to resume treatment.
Initial Evaluation and Management of Medications
All Clients are assessed prior to admission by our Clincial Director. Upon admission, each Client meets with the Executive Director, the Program Director, and their individual therapist. They meet with our Board Certified Psychiatrist after admission, and all medications will be managed by our Psychiatrist while they are in the PCH Treatment Program.
Treatment modalities
PCH services may include individual psychotherapy, individual Somatic Experiencing Therapy, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) groups, Insomnia and Sleep Disorders Group, psychoeducational groups, bipolar case management, primary therapy groups, specialized groups, experiential therapies, family therapy, couples therapy, and nutritional counseling. Also, daily yoga and meditation, music therapy, art therapy, acupuncture and relaxation techniques are also offered.
