Dr. Adriana Westby-Trent received her B.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles; her M.A. in Clinical Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) from California State University, Northridge; and her Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the Reiss Davis Graduate Center for Child Development and Psychotherapy. Dr. Trent has an extensive history working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who have experienced negative life events/trauma. She also has experience in clinical supervision of undergraduate/graduate interns and unlicensed staff in the community mental health setting. She is an adjunct faculty in the MFT program at Pacific Oaks College, where she teaches graduate level courses in Evidenced Based Practices, Counseling and Communication Skills, and Practicum. Dr. Trent is nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Managing and Adapting Practice. Dr. Trent’s areas of interests are trauma and addiction.
