Dr. Amanda Levy is a mental health focused Occupational Therapist who has experience working with people across the lifespan as well as family systems as a whole. Dr. Levy received her Doctor of Occupational Therapy degree from The University of Southern California (USC) and focused her doctoral thesis on sensory-based approaches for self-regulation. She has worked with both pediatric and adult clients in a variety of settings ranging from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to private practice. Dr. Levy has expertise in the realms of Trauma-Informed Care, substance abuse, occupational-life balance, holistic wellness (including somatic therapy and sensory profiling), and treatment of bipolar disorder. She is also a certified and experienced EMDR therapist. Dr. Levy has worked at a number of clinics in the greater Los Angeles region including Silicon Beach Treatment Center, Rise in Malibu, and Kedren Community Health Center. Dr. Levy now focuses her time providing both group-based and individual therapy to clients PCH as well as lecturing about the role of OT in mental health settings at various universities across the country.
