Dr. Amanda Smith is an Individual and Group therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She obtained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Wright Institute Los Angeles. Prior to joining the PCH team, she worked as the clinical director of a local dual diagnosis residential facility. She received a certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Psychoanalytic Center of California in 2012. She completed advanced training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy through Treatment Implementation Collaborative in 2012. She has also completed basic, advanced, and adolescent trainings in Mentalization Based Therapy. In addition, Dr. Smith has a private practice in Santa Monica where she works with individuals and couples.
