Andrea Vander Hyde, AMFT
Andrea graduated with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. After working in the finance industry for six years, Andrea traveled the world for a year and a half. In early 2017, Andrea received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Community Psychology, from Antioch University. Andrea interned at The Relational Center in Los Angeles where she was trained in Relational Gestalt therapy, providing individual psychotherapy and psychoeducation to adults of diverse cultural backgrounds with various presenting issues, incorporating mindfulness and somatic awareness techniques. Andrea has also facilitated various types of group therapy including meditation, yoga therapy, single life, support and process. Andrea then worked for Life Adjustment Team as a Clinical Case Manager where she provided intensive outpatient psychiatric rehabilitation to those suffering from severe mental health issues and substance abuse.
