Ava Rose, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Sensorimotor Psychotherapist who received her Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA. Ava has a private practice in Santa Monica, offering relationally-focused individual, couple and family therapy. Ava specializes in sexual and relational trauma, and frequently provides trainings and consultations on trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and trauma-focused treatment. Ava has taught at UCLA. She is past Director of Women Helping Women ~ Community Counseling & Support Services, and currently teaches at USC and the Reiss-Davis Child Study Center. As an SP Therapist at PCH, Ava works directly with the somatic effects of trauma and early attachment experiences, in order to enhance clients’ affect regulation and facilitate the integration of somatic, emotional and cognitive processing.
