Billie Weiser, Psy.D. is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist with a doctorate in Psychoanalysis from the Los Angeles Institute & Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (LAISPS). She has over 25 years of experience in both private and community settings. She maintains a long-term private practice in Westwood where she currently sees individuals and couples. Billie has also worked in a number of mental health communities. She served as Clinical Director of Youth Services at the LA Gay & Lesbian Services Center where she worked for 10 years. At Tarzana Treatment Center she supervised a case management staff working with a post-incarcerated population. Billie has presented workshops in a variety of arenas, on a range of topics, including attachment, use of metaphor, use of assessment tools in early childhood research and education, clinical issues specific to at risk youth, and gay and lesbian identity development. She has also taught Self-Psychology, Intersubjectivity and Ego Psychology at LAISPS. Dr. Weiser comes to PCH into the Family and Group Therapist role with a wealth of dynamic and unique experience as a clinician.
