Hello. As a therapist committed to strengthening relationships and fostering emotional, mental, and spiritual health, I look forward to serving you.
I am a psychotherapist in private practice, And a licensed clinical social worker. My approach to therapy is compassion, collaborative and humanistic. I listen with a trained ear and respond to each person‘s unique situation. I practice relational, person centered psychotherapy through an object relations lens, and integrated cognitive behavioral techniques to provide more immediate symptom relief in conjunction with deeper work being done.
I have been practicing social work since 2001 when I graduated from the University of Southern California. I have worked with a diverse range of clients, including trauma survivors, at-risk youth, co- occurring disorders, PTSD, addictions, substance abuse, recovery, depression, anxiety, people experiencing transitions, and stages of life issues.
I strive to maintain a consistent lens of social justice and empowerment in the work I do with others. Two of my guiding principles are “ go where the client is” and that it’s “never too late to change”.
My formal education is a BS degree in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I have extensive agency experience, and postgraduate training in both cognitive behavioral and psychoanalytic methods. I individualize my treatment style so as to be most helpful to each person and situation.
