Clinton Johnson, LMFT
Sobriety Support Therapist
Clinton Johnson is a licensed therapist who received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Berkeley and his master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University LA. Clint worked for 4 years as a group and individual therapist at a residential treatment center on the westside of LA called Beit T’Shuvah, which deals with a variety of behavioral addictions, all while building a private practice under expert supervision. This was a natural fit as Clint came to his knowledge of addiction and treatment honestly. In his first year licensed, he turned a humble school project into Summit, a program that trained and brought residents in primary treatment to the peak of Mt. Whitney in the Summer of 2016. 2019 marks its third consecutive year – and the first without him – for which he is especially grateful. Clint is a member of GPALA (Group Psychotherapy Association of LA) and practices both group and individual therapy out of his private practice in Beverly Hills. Clint is always thinking of how to provide therapy in a natural setting, including a therapeutic workshop in Sequoia National Park in the summer of 2020.
