Elana Berman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#73917) and certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. Following completion of her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California at Berkeley, she earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California with Dean’s List Honors and became a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner at the California College of Ayurveda. Elana blends psychotherapy with Ayurveda to offer holistic healing. She provides psychotherapy to adults, children, couples, and families.
Elana earned certifications in a variety of evidence-based modalities to treat substance abuse, trauma, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety. She works as a therapist at Kaiser Permanente and in private practice in West Los Angeles. She also facilitates groups at PCH. Additionally, Elana is a guest lecturer at Pacifica Institute, a peer consultant for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a meditation and yoga teacher. Fun fact about Elana: she speaks French as well as some Spanish and Hindi. During her undergraduate year abroad, she travelled to 12 countries in Europe!
