Dr. Gabriel Hubbard is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Pasadena,
CA. He earned a masters and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California
Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, CA. He completed his pre-doctoral
internship at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), Cal Poly Pomona, and
subsequently completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Rose City Center in
Pasadena, where he received in-depth training and supervision in psychoanalytically-
oriented psychotherapy.
In private practice since 2015, Dr. Hubbard currently works with adolescent and adult
individuals, couples, and families, providing both short-term, problem-focused treatment
as well as more long-term, intensive forms of therapy. His areas of clinical interest
include life transitions, trauma and PTSD, loss and mourning, gender and sexuality,
cross-cultural issues, loss and mourning, substance abuse, intimacy/sexual problems,
creativity, and work satisfaction.
