Griffin Thompson received her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College of California in Adolescent and Adult Development. Griffin’s graduate internship focused on providing therapeutic services to adults with dual diagnosis at a short-term acute facility. She is certified in Seeking Safety, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Wellness Recovery Action Plan, Crisis Oriented Recovery Services, Helping Women Recover: Trauma and substance abuse. Griffin created emotional intelligence programs for students in K-5th grade at a charter school.
