Dr. Jayce Long is a licensed psychologist who works as a group psychotherapist at PCH Treatment Center. He additionally works in nursing facilities and outpatient clinics in West Los Angeles where he sees university students, adults and older adults. Dr. Long has training in contemporary psychodynamic individual and group treatment, as well as DBT-skills/mindfulness-based and existential approaches. He received his Masters Degree in Family and Child Sciences from the Florida State University, and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University. He completed his APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Southern Louisiana Internship Consortium, Louisiana State University, working primarily with university students and forensic psychiatric patients. His postdoctoral fellowship training emphasized psychodynamic therapy and comprehensive psychological assessment with older adults in a community mental health setting.
