Jessica Hicks holds two master’s degrees in psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute: Depth Psychology with a Somatic Studies Specialization and Counseling Psychology—as well as a bachelor’s degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music. Jessica worked as a therapist for two years at residential addiction treatment center Beit T’ Shuvah and for over two years as the senior producer for KidsInTheHouse.com where she interviewed renowned experts in the field of mental health. Jessica has led community music-therapy workshops for prisoners and college students through the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program at Pitzer College and at Loyola Marymount University Extension. She was a celebrity parenting coach and a columnist for Mothering.com for two years. Her article detailing the intersection of unconscious trauma responses embodied in clandestine sexual praxes was published in The Therapist Magazine. Jessica is in private practice as an Associate Psychotherapist in West Los Angeles.
