Kate Carnahan received her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) with a specialization in trauma from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena, California, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Kate’s passion is working with clients who struggle with substance use and Kate went on to further her studies and get her Drug and Alcohol Certification through The California Association for Alcohol/Drug Educators. Kate’s clinical training has included working with clients with dual diagnoses in a PHP and IOP setting as well as working with clients with substance use at various treatment centers in the Los Angeles area. Kate believes in a holistic approach to healing that is client centered and focuses on finding individual meaning and purpose.
