Katya Kosarenko, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker with expertise in PTSD, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, relationship issues, and life transitions. She has a private practice in West LA. She is also bi-cultural and bi-lingual, and is fluent in both English and Russian. Katya earned her Masters degree in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach. Her knowledge and training have helped her provide growth and restore clients to wholeness for over 15 years by healing past traumas and by assisting clients with pressures of daily life. This is accomplished using traditional talk therapy combined with various body-oriented techniques, with the most influential modality being Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, in which Katya has obtained an extensive training. By blending traditional talk therapy with body awareness and movement, both mind and body are integrated in a balanced healing.
