Meenadchi is a licensed occupational therapist with 10+ years experience in trauma services and crisis stabilization. Meenadchi received a B.A. in Theater Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.A. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. Beginning in suicide prevention and moving on to work in rape crisis advocacy with system-involved and sexually exploited minors, Meenadchi’s occupational therapy practice focuses on the intersections of trauma and mental illness, sensory processing, executive functioning, and social participation. Meenadchi is concurrently employed by Painted Brain, a non-profit community center with a strong focus on deconstructing the patient-provider barrier through lived-experience, peer-based care and supporting wellness through arts, advocacy, and enterprise. Meenadchi maintains a private practice integrating Non-Violent Communication, collective skillbuilding, and an exploration of intergenerational trauma histories as a means of understanding and improving our ways of being in the world and connecting with those we love.
