Michael G. Hofrath, is a Somatic Trauma & EMDR Therapist, with certifications as an Advanced Trauma Specialist (RITTM) and NeuroAffective Touch (NAT). He holds a doctorate in Somatic Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Carpinteria CA, with a BS in Business Administration, Marketing Management, and a Communications minor from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo CA. Michael’s approach is psychodynamic, humanistic and existential, with training in CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing. He has extensive experience working with a highly diverse client demographic including children, adolescents, adults, veterans and first responders. Michael is the former Head of Trauma for the Save A Warrior Foundation, Co-Creator and Lead Therapist for the Warrior Integration Now (WIN) program and has worked with substance abuse for Elevation Behavioral Health and The Scott Addiction & Recovery. Michael’s training and background include comprehensive experience in meditation and mindfulness practices, experiential modalities, ceremony, ritual, mandala-art therapy, Hero’s Journey rite of passage initiations and shamanic healing practices.
