Michele Conklin Montrone is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Art Therapist. She holds a Masters degree in Marital and Family Therapy with Clinical Specialization in Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University and a B.A. from New York University. She is trained in EMDR, the Trauma Resiliency Model and has also completed post-graduate training at the Pacific Gestalt Institute. As a trauma specialist at PCH, Michele works with individuals clients and is a group facilitator. Michele helps client gain an understanding of their traumatic experiences, increase access to their internal resources, and gain greater emotional regulation so they can live life more fully. With many traumas occurring in relationship to others, Michele maintains a strong focus on repairing developmental and attachment trauma as a foundation for healing. Michele has a private practice in West Los Angeles where she works with individuals and couples treating complex trauma, mood disorders, substance abuse, relationship issues and life transitions and is a Clinical Supervisor at the Southern California Counseling Center
