Paula Santos, PsyD, BCBA-D
Paula Santos, Psy.D., BCBA-D is a consultant for autism spectrum and related disorders as well as a behavioral consultant. Dr. Santos received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Mount Holyoke College, as well as her masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, where she specialized in multiculturalism and multicultural community mental health. Dr. Santos also completed her Applied Behavior Analysis coursework through the University of West Florida. She is board certified in Applied Behavior Analysis at the doctoral level and works from a developmental and behavioral perspective with treatment modalities including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She run a group practice, Assessment, Consultation & Treatment in Pasadena, California for children, adolescents, and adults affected by autism spectrum and related disorders including ADHD and Intellectual Disability. In this practice she provides developmental and diagnostic evaluations, as well as Functional Behavior Assessments and consults with regional centers, residential homes, school districts, and individual home-based programs. Dr. Santos is a consulting psychologist at the San Gabriel/Pomona Regional Center and regularly conducts Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) through school districts. She has taught at the graduate level at Alliant International University and the University of West Florida and trains and supports those seeking licensure and board certification.
