Rachel Abroms obtained her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. Rachel is a level 2 Certified Trauma Professional (CCTP-II). She is also certified in alcohol and drug counseling. Rachel is a trauma therapist who specializes in treating people with Dissociative Disorders, PTSD and other diagnoses resulting from Complex Trauma. Prior to joining PCH, Rachel worked as a Primary Therapist, Trauma Therapist and Group Facilitator at several different residential and intensive outpatient treatment centers for mental health and addiction issues. Additionally, Rachel has had two previous careers in the entertainment industry and as the owner/designer of a jewelry and accessories company. In Rachel’s work with her clients, she brings together a wide range of clinical skills, trauma treatment modalities, creativity, and tremendous empathy for those struggling to cope with and heal from mental health and addiction difficulties. Rachel works at PCH as an individual therapist, and EMDR therapist. Rachel also facilitates an art and jewelry making group.
