
Ryan Sauer recieved his B.A. in Psychology from University of Michigan, and he began working at PCH in June 2016 as a Client Assistant. In March 2017, Ryan was promoted to the Shift Lead position among Client Assistants in PCH’s Mar Vista residences, where he was responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring that clients’ needs were met, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment within the residences. In January 2018, Ryan was promoted to the position of Neurofeedback Coordinator, where he currently serves as the technician for Neurofeedback—a technology using Electroencephalography (EEG), combined with the principles of Operant Conditioning, to train brainwaves in order to promote self-regulation of brain activity so that one may be able to access their optimal mental state more easily. As Neurofeedback Coordinator, Ryan works under the direct supervision of Clinical Director, Dr. Adriana Westby-Trent, PhD.
