Sara Slayden received her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2018. Sara has worked in nonprofit settings at Airport Marina Counseling Service and The Boys and Girls Club as an individual. Sara previously worked in substance abuse as an RA and program coordinator for clients struggling with addiction and co-occuring disorders. Sara has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mentalizing Based Therapy (MBT). Sara has worked at PCH Center for since 2016 as an ERP coach and Assistant Program Director. Sara specializes in OCD and anxiety related disorders and currently works as an individual and group therapist.
