Sophie Davis-Cohen, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, received her graduate degree at Smith College School for Social Work. Sophie completed her graduate internships at Prototypes, providing individual and group therapy with case management to unemployed parents on welfare; and at Sandy Segal Youth Health Center, providing long-term individual and group therapy to adolescents at Culver City middle and high schools. Previously, she was a mental health group leader and admissions coordinator at a secure dual-diagnosis treatment facility for adolescents in Oregon; and worked at an art therapy camp in Boston, serving as residential counselor to support an international team of therapists and adolescent clients. Sophie received her Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from Kenyon College.
Sophie previously worked as Assistant Program Director at PCH Mar Vista, and currently serves as a Program Director at PCH Pasadena. She is currently receiving training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Wright Institute Los Angeles, and providing affordable long-term therapy to individuals and couples there. Sophie is trained in and has taught reflective meditation in various settings.
