Nancy Choe is a licensed marriage and family therapist and registered art therapist. She received her MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and her MA in Clinical Art Therapy/Marital Family Therapy from Loyola Marymount University. She trained at Huntington Hospital Della Martin Center (outpatient psychiatric services) providing group and individual therapy to adults and at Pacific Clinics’ day treatment program providing CBT based interventions and art therapy to children and their families. Using her background in design, digital marketing, research, and psychology, Nancy works as a consultant helping global companies improve their user experience(UX) on the web by localizing their media assets. In her private practice, she works with teens and young adults on issues involving mood, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma as well as cultural, relationship, and school/workplace challenges. She has presented workshops and published writings on the use of art in therapy and digital media use in art therapy.
