Taryn McDonald received her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California. Taryn’s graduate internship with Exodus Recovery Inc’s Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) focused on providing therapeutic services to acutely mentally ill, voluntary, and involuntary clients requiring inpatient hospitalization. Taryn also worked as an individual therapist for young adult students at West Los Angeles Community College.
Taryn has been with PCH for over two years, starting out as a client assistant. In her current position as Assistant Program Director, Taryn works with clients to provide initial assessments, case management, and clinical support as needed. She also works closely with the PCH Family Program to provide support to families and couples looking to optimize communication and promote long-term success.
