At PCH, we prefer to put names and faces to the philosophy guiding our approach whenever possible. To better accomplish that, we will begin sharing the firsthand perspectives of the people behind our treatment programs with monthly staff interviews.
Read more of our conversation with Individual and Director of Group Therapy, Seth C. Kadish, Psy.D., and the five questions about his guiding philosophy and principles.
1. How would you describe PCH Treatment Center to a family or friend in need?
PCH is a sterling treatment center, dedicated to the well-being of all clients. We have a longstanding national reputation predicated on numerous successful outcomes. One measure of our worth is the number of individual and group therapists who have chosen to continue working at PCH. The majority of them have been with us for many years, a testament to their belief in the PCH model and the integrity of its leadership.
2. What inspires you most at PCH?
Our commitment to the welfare and success of each and every client, which starts with our leadership team – Dr. Jeff Ball and Dr. Adriana Westby-Trent.
3. What’s your top three favorite movies?
Goodfellas, The Magnificent Seven (1960), and Godfather I
4. What’s your dream vacation?
A month in Spain – any city at all!
5. If you can invite anyone alive or no longer living to your dinner party, who would you invite and why?
Chrstopher Walken – he’s odd, fascinating and has the demeanor and at times seemingly nonsensical answers of a Zen master.
