Mentalization Based Family Support Group
Mentalization is a mental and emotional processing capacity by which we interpret behavior (both our own and others) as being driven or motivated by underlying mental states. Through this identification, clients work together to establish ways in which they are able to diminish these habitual patterns by means of support and guidance from the facilitator. This group will provide family members with an opportunity to develop greater mentalizing skills while also offering a supportive experience connecting families within the PCH community.
